Selex Galileo Inc. & Lasertel Inc. Merge to Form US-Based Leonardo Electronics US Inc.

We are excited to announce that as of January 1, 2020, we have merged the Selex Galileo Inc. and Lasertel Inc. businesses to form Leonardo Electronics US Inc., a US-based independent entity providing next-gen technologies in the defense, security, medical, automotive, and industrial segments.  

Leonardo Electronics US Inc. President & CEO, Matt Keegan, states “This merger marks a significant investment in capacity and engineering to support our US customer base. It is the first of several steps toward growth to meet emerging market demands with collaborative R&D, high volume production, and a systems mindset. Customers will benefit from increasingly robust program management, engineering bench strength, systems expertise, and operational efficiencies."

Leonardo Electronics US Inc. will be headquartered in Arlington, VA with facilities in Huntsville, AL, Norcross, GA, and Tucson, AZ which remains the operational, production, and engineering center of the Lasertel laser diode business.
