In addition to exhibiting at booth #1441, Leonardo Electronics US will have several representatives presenting at SPIE Photonics West, the world’s largest annual event for the photonics, laser, and biomedical optics industries. Both presentations will take place during SPIE LASE 2018. LASE is the industrial laser, laser source, and laser application conference that takes place at Photonics West.
The first session is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 29 at 4:10 p.m. Members of the team will be discussing current performance metrics of bar-based diode lasers specifically engineered for high peak power and high brightness. Leonardo Electronics US will also join industry members from Lawrence Livermore National Lab and University of Michigan on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 4:20 p.m. for a discussion on reliability methodologies for determining the impact of back-irradiance on high power diode pump operation in laser systems. The session is part of the Laser Diode Packaging track.
