The Material Project Manager will be responsible for the management to completion, of complex material and service procurements in support of Leonardo Electronics Inc. as a service provider to Leonardo MW Ltd (LMW). They should have knowledge and understanding of the processes of manufacturing, project management, quality, procurement and engineering functions within an organization and the ability to determine areas of risk associated with these processes. The Material Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining all records associated with subcontracts in an accurate and controlled manner in accordance with LEI process/policies and in support of DCAA/DCMA requirements.
Supply Chain Management is a key element in the success of LEI to both retain and grow existing business and to assist in securing new business. The Material Project Manager will liaise closely with the SCMS Procurement Service team and key stakeholders in LMW and across multiple functions within each organization to ensure continued support to LMW.
