Marketing Manager

Develop, implement, and manage strategic marketing initiatives that support and align with the organization's strategic plan. Work with department leadership to identify marketing objectives, strategies, messages, tactics, timelines, and success metrics.  Manage marketing partners to ensure timely program development and execution, Interface internally with engineering, production, and business development personnel and externally with trade show organizations, professional societies, industry publications and marketing consultants.  The candidate filling this position will be expected to become well versed in Leonardo Electronics US core competencies, technologies, and products and to effectively communicate to a range of audiences (non-technical to technical) both orally and in writing.  Collaboration, communication, and critical thinking are a must in this role as well as problem solving skills, positive attitude and attention to detail.

  • Work with department management to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that support and align with the organization's strategic plan 
  • Work with finance department to monitor and control marketing activities within budgetary constraints
  • Manage marketing content / calendar in support of the overall business strategy
  • Coordinate all exhibit and tradeshow activities including booth design and logistics
  • Manage and lead development of marketing collateral such as product brochures, catalogues, web content, etc.
  • Coordinate and direct inbound marketing efforts including the development of relevant, useful technical marketing content (application notes, technical white papers, presentations, videos, social media, datasheets, blog posts, whitepapers, webinars etc.)
  • Manage marketing automation and lead nurturing processes 



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, advanced degree (MBA, MS) beneficial.
  • 5 years + experience in photonics industry technology marketing and market research.
  • Demonstrated excellent writing, editing and communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret industry needs and directions and support planning, development, and implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with online database programs (Hubspot, Salesforce) and content production.
  • Experience managing project/program budgets and analysis/metric tracking.
